Yahoo! to Provide Music and Entertainment Content for Pioneer Digital Library

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. announced today that Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO) will provide Pioneer access to key music and entertainment content from Yahoo!'s site through the DigitaLibrary, which is the first in the company's line of Digital Network Entertainment products. The DigitaLibrary allows users to distribute multi-media content including music, video, photos and Internet content, wirelessly or through wired connections throughout the home. Pioneer is currently beta testing the DigitaLibrary with content from LAUNCH, the music destination on Yahoo! and Yahoo! Movies.
Yahoo! is the exclusive provider of music videos, Internet radio, movie trailers and music news, which is updated six times daily. Yahoo! was selected because of the wide variety of music and entertainment offerings on its site, its dedication and commitment to the project, and its high quality audio and video capabilities.
The DigitaLibrary platform makes it easy to add additional content as new services from Yahoo! become available.
