Indianapolis 500 Winner Buddy Rice Races Through SEMA Show

Two days of whirlwind activities include driving demonstrations at Yokohama Proving Ground and Autograph Signing Sessions at Pioneer Booth

Buddy Rice, winner of the 2004 Indianapolis 500, will join Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. for a whirlwind series of activities at the 2004 Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association show this week in Las Vegas. The Indy 500 winner, whose favorite hobby is modifying his own classic cars, will sign autographs in the Pioneer booth and will be on hand at the Yokohama Proving Ground to show off Pioneer's newest navigation and vehicle dynamics products.

“SEMA is such a great show for me because I have four classic cars and I love tricking them out. I can't wait to see the newest accessories,” said Buddy Rice, IRL driver of the No. 15 Pioneer/Argent Mortgage Honda Panoz G Force. “Right now, Pioneer is setting up my '49 Mercury with all of their newest A/V equipment and navigation. It's going to be great when it's ready.”
