2007 Product Debuts

It's an exciting time of the year for us here at Pioneer. The International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) always gets us in the mood for the New Year. With new product launches and announcements, CES is the best place we can think of to show off what we've been cooking up all year long and introduce our new products.

Satellite Radio Receivers
Pioneer has built its reputation by introducing cutting-edge products that bring added convenience and improved performance to both a home theater and the dash of a car. This year's show is no different with three new home A/V receivers that are among the industry's first with both SIRIUS® and XM® Satellite Radio direct connectivity to both a XM Connect & Play™ antenna and SiriusConnect™ SC-H1 tuner (both sold separately; monthly subscription needed) in addition to having ports for Apple iPod® players and USB devices.

 Our car stereos also offer greater connectivity than ever before with iPod Direct, iPod video, USB connectivity and Bluetooth® compatibility. Our new home and car receivers allow you to enjoy all your favorite tunes whether you connect to satellite radio or just about any portable music player on the market.

Entertainment and Navigation Unit
AVIC-D3 is a full featured GPS Satellte Navigation system and in-car entertainment center.  With extensive audio and video playback, the AVIC-D3 plays CDs, DVDs, MP3. WMA, AAC and DivX formats. Add iPod Direct control and Bluetooth® compatibility and you have a full entertainment package at an unbelievable price. 

Blu-ray Disc
To see high definition movies in all their true glory, Blu-ray Disc is the way to go. Pioneer showcased players and computer drives that enable you to see 1080p movie content at its best (when connected to 1080p screens). Pioneer's Elite® Blu-ray Disc player provides superior playback of new Blu-ray Disc titles and even your current DVDs. No other player offers the exclusive Home Media Gallery feature to stream movies, photos and music from your home computer network.

Demo Cars

Pioneer's in-car audio and video products look and sound great in just about any car on the road, but the three most tricked out demo vehicles at CES took it to another level.

The “Top Tuner Solstice” with its vicious green paint job is the work of a group of five Canadian tuners who went for a highly decorated, artistic look while incorporating multiple video screens, navigation and a 6-disc DVD changer for over-the-top entertainment.

The apple red '05 Scion tC from Sixth Avenue Electronics offers a more subdued, sophisticated dashboard, saving the big impact for the rear of the vehicle that houses an electrifying amp rack and intricate subwoofer enclosure. Get inside the driver's seat with more Scion tC photos.

Finally, an '06 Yamaha R1 street bike makes it clear that you can have just as much fun tricking out two wheels as four.
